'Maestro Yannick' and his Philadelphia audience - Euronews

Philadelphia is the fifth US city, and it boasts one of the best American orchestras. At its helm is charismatic Canadian conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

In this interview he talks about what the city means to him and how the orchestra impacts on life in Philadelphia. He is constantly recognised when he is out and recounts some of the meetings with fans of the orchestra. A shopping trip to the supermarket brings a suggestion for a David Bowie tribute, while there are numerous requests for photographs and a few hugs from fans as well.

"sehr sensitiv und klangschön."
