Yannick Nézet-Séguin will conduct Parsifal and Elektra at the MET in 2017-2018

The Metropolitan Opera (MET) of New York has revealed his new season this morning. Music Director designate, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, will conduct two of the most fascinating productions of the repertoire, Richard Wagner's Parsifal in February 2018 and Richard Strauss' Elektra in March 2018, the first one produced by François Girard and the second one by Patrice Chéreau.

« Opening night at the Met / Times Square puts him at the epicenter of the music world.»
