Yannick was honored at the CCAR (Council for Canadian American Relations) gala held at the Metropolitan Club in New York. He accepted the honor humbly, saying (on Instagram) that he was “grateful, during this difficult time on our continent, for the exchanges, the friendships, and the shared belief that art has the power to bring people together across borders, differences, and uncertainty.” Cindy Sherman also received an Award for Distinguished Contribution to the Arts in Canada and the United States. Arts Leadership Awards were given to Glenn D. Lowry, and Matthew Teitelbaum, CM.
