Yannick conducts a Concert for Ukraine

On Monday, March 14 at 6 p.m., the Orchestra and Chorus of the Metropolitan Opera of New York under the direction of Yannick Nézet-Séguin, will present a 70-minute benefit concert at Lincoln Center in support of Ukraine. Works by Valentin Silvestrov, Barber, Verdi, Strauss, and Beethoven will be performed there. Several opera stars will take part in this concert, including soprano Lise Davidsen, mezzo-soprano Elza van den Heever, tenor Jamie Barton, bass-barythons Piotr Beczała, Ryan Speedo Green, as well as Ukrainian Vladyslav Buialskyi who perform the National Anthem of his country. This concert will be heard in most countries around the world. It will also be featured on Sirius and streamed live on metopera.org. All ticket money and donations will go to the cause of Ukraine.
