Two Grammys for Yannick!

Conductor of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Yannick won the Grammy for the Best recording of an opera with Fire Shut Up In My Bones by Terence Blanchard. As a pianist, accompanying the famous soprano Renée Fleming, he won the Grammy of the Best Classical Solo Vocal Album for Voice of Nature – The Anthropocene. Last year, he won the Grammy for the Best Orchestral Recording with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Yannick said he was truly touched by what these awards symbolize for his ensembles and by the values they convey, inclusion and respect for the environment. "This indicates a new era for the classic, which I am very proud to represent in this way," says Yannick in an interview.

"I’m very, very lucky, of course — maybe the luckiest music director"
