In September 2026, Yannick will begin his 15th year at the helm of The Philadelphia Orchestra, which unveiled its season yesterday. Music and artistic director of this prestigious ensemble, with which he has developed a legendary rapport, he has invited several renowned conductors and soloists, including Yuja Wang, Hitzak Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma, and Lang Lang. He will himself be at the podium in, among other things, 4 Mahler symphonies (1, 3, 5 and 7), Wagner's opera Lohengrin in concert version, J.S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio, Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, Bernstein's symphonic rituals from Bernstein’s Mass, Beethoven's Pastoral and Choral symphonies and Concerto No. 1, Holst's The Planets, as well as several new works, including a new orchestration of Florence Price's Rainbow Waltz.
