Yannick will lead the Berlin Staatskapelle, replacing Daniel Barenboim
Maestro Daniel Barenboim had to withdraw from his North American tour with the Staatskapelle Berlin for health reasons. Yannick Nézet-Séguin has agreed to conduct three concerts in his place: two in Carnegie Hall, New York, wher he’ll conduct the complete cycle of Brahms symphonies in two evenings, November 30 at 8 p.m. (S1 and S2) and December 1st at 8 p.m. ( S3 and S4). He’ll also conduct them for one concert at Verizon Hall, Philadelphia, December 3, 7:30 pm (Brahms, S3 and S4).
